I hope these guys get enough funding to launch the product. It seems like a great replacement for car stereos.

Playing the devil's advocate here:
If all this is is an in-dash iPhone dock, there are already head units that not only have direct iPod support, but can control said iPod via the touchscreen on the head unit. What would be the point of limiting your head unit to only being functional with a product not everyone owns?
If the big selling point is being flush mounted, maaaaybe, but there are still other solutions to mount your smartphone and still have a good standalone radio at the same time.

Considering I think Apple products are garbage, I would never buy it. Plus, you instantly alienate every other person who doesn't have an iPhone, which realistically, isn't going to be very profitable.

Another useless product. Looks like a microwave.
Plus I already have the Pie iPod connector plugged into the rear of my stock head unit. I'll pass.

I'll pick one up if it gets developed. I'd like to see more pre-outs though.

I like Apple products. I don't think the Microwave oven is an Apple product. Why bother
Use a bluetooth link. I have use Apple products for 20 years. The intel versions of the Mac's are trouble free. Of course they cost more, but so does a Rolex vs a Timex, you get what you pay for. If you like you can partition the hard drive and install both Mac OS 10.7.3 and Windows 7 and drag and drop apps. Either direction Try doing that on a windows device.
Unlike windows XP, Vista, both SP2 the only really good OS from windows is the 7 it works really great. I do use Microsoft office, and I have a HP Laptop. for some windows 7 apps that a lot of companies only except. But that is there problem. Try using a Lenox computers. I like iPads for games and the apps. None of the other note pads even come close to having the number of apps the iPad/ iPod Touch have.
As for the phones, iPhone has more Apps than all the others out there and they
work. Apple haters are jealous. Use an iPhone 4S for a month and then tell me about the other smart phones. Little short on Apps. JMHO Flame away. I like Apple hands down.

There is a good reason; advertising. Why do you think Bose is still in business?

Apple phones are great for people that just do what Apple tells them they can do with a phone.
Then there are some of us that like to have limitless possibilities with our phones/portable computing devices. We have Droid.

Actually whenyou jailbreak your device your possibilies are endless. My iPhone 4 running Siri will blow any droid out the water. I have had droid phones as well. Thats why i own a iphone, ipad and macbook pro b/c windows software and droids all are sh:censor:

I am trying to sell a Mac that I built up because all of the stuff I thought it would do extra for me, was already possible and thensome in a MUCH faster capacity on my PC.
I'm happy for you that Mac suits your needs, but my PC has always done more for me at significantly lower costs than any Apple products I've owned and used.

Take a look at the site again - they plan on having faceplates for any smartphone.

I may actually preorder the above. For the price, it could be a steal. At CES this past January, Sony introduced their mirror-link for droid smartphones. Its getting a bunch of hype.
This is where car stereo technology is going.

Yeah... I stick with PC's, for the cost for a premium Mac desktop I can build a PC for much less and blow it out of the water with anything I'd want to do with it.
