I enjoy nothing more than tooling down the blvd at 29 mph, catching all the green lights as I crawl across town at rush hour.
My Saturn will engage at 19. My wifes Liberty won't engage until 32.
?
I get my MM Saturday, so I'm curious...

Don't know, only use my cruise on Trips out of town on the Interstate
Here's some links to the owner's manuals to enjoy reading prior to delivery.......:D

I just looked in the manual...
Vehicle speed cannot be controlled
until the vehicle is traveling at or
above 48 km/h (30 mph). Sgt Merc is right.......

OK, to me, it seems like asking that question on this board is a bit like going on a vegan discussion board and asking "What's your favorite cut of beef?".

Rollin low and slo is the way to go...sometimes.
We have kids and dogs and stuff that don't do well with the front ends of cars. Oh, and speed limits.
Besides, I want people to SEE me in this thing, not scream past them in a residential area.
I just like engaging the cruise in a 30-mph zone so I don't do something stupid and get nailed for a speeding ticket. I like to punch it on the freeway ramps, mostly.

When my car was stock. I used the cruise control a lot on all road at all speeds. But as soon as the mods came. The cruise control went to the wayside. Now it's all about mashing the go go pedal:burnout:

Silverback's(04) cruise control will consistently engage at 25 and sometimes 24. The Wife's Grand Marquis(05) engages at 30 MPH.
However, I prefer my car when driving on the nearby Air Force base were the 25 MPH speed limit is strictly enforced, even down to 2 MPH over. Ask me how I know. Hard to keep 25 without speed control or constant attention. Oh wait, isn't that what a driver is supposed to be doing?

I rarely, if ever, use cruise control. Probably haven't used it more than 5 times since 2003 and then it was always on long-distance interstate trips with speeds of 65 MPH or better. Setting cruise for under 30 MPH on secondary roads in Northern Virginia is a waste of time and energy.

Our roads can be a little boring, and congested with tail-chasing idiots. Couple that with agressive law enforcement, I make a game of it to moderate my speed electronically. All I have to worry about is braking.
I'll never buy a car w/o cruise control.

You may just find out that the driving experience in a Marauder is a TAD different than 9 years in a Saturn. ;)
What the hell? How slow can you go?! I must be on the wrong website...

I used to use my cruise control at all times possible. And anticapating what is ahead to use coasting to save further gas. As well as wear on the brakes. It does wonders on the gas mileage. Drove like a real grandpa. I babied the car back then and needed to save as much on gas as possible. Then I got layed off. Not so much a concern now after I found another job. But I do occassionaly again get in that groove by sit back, turn the cruise on, and relax and take it easy knowing I'm saving gas too.
