What's the benefit, besides making the intake a little taller? Just curious.

Some will say it's worth a couple ponies, some say a bit quicker throttle respose. I made a bunch of changes at once so I can't say. It does physically change manifold volume which can help with tip-in response.

Tip in is the beginning of fuel injector spraying into the head even before the valves start to open. More plenum volume can mean more air available when needed. You can adjust plenum volume in a custom tune too.
