UPDATE
Check out the link, they put our boot on sale.
http://www.redlinegoods.com/Marauder03shiftboot.php
they are offering the boot for $44.00
you pick leather color, the stitching, etc
Just ask and these guys will make it how you want.
I hope you can tell from the pics how nice the boot is.
If your concerned about drilling the holes to mount it, you could epoxy the boot to the bottom of your console. This would be totally reversible and not damage your console.
BTW
I am sending these guys my steering wheel and arm rest.
They will be able to offer these to us also.

Sorry about the crappy quality of the pics. Cell phone is only camera.
When I bought the Marauder the indicator was missing from the gearshift piece. I wanted to fix it, but I wanted to doing something a little different. I decided on a leather boot and the aluminum surround that Jim makes.
I ordered the surround from Jim. A couple years ago I bought a nice boot for my Cobra from a guy named Maciek at www.Redlinegoods.com so I contacted him again. I gave him all the specifications and he made a custom boot. This guy does great work and uses some quality leather.
The installation was super easy with the surround because once you have installed the surround and bolts, the threaded ends of the bolts under the console are where you want to attach the boot.
To install;
remove the center console
drill the holes for the surround

install the surround and push bolts through console
position the boot evenly under the console
poke holes in the leather to go over the threads of the bolts
put on and tighten nuts

thread nuts on
BTW
I used some epoxy on the leather areas between the nuts to make sure the leather was all secure, but I don't think it was crucial.
