A long block will typically be a complete engine. You may just need COPs, COP covers, flywheel, intake. A shortblock is without heads, front cover, timing chains/arms, oil pan, etc.

Vacuum leaks are easily fixed, o2 sensors are reasonably cheap and not hard to install, smoke at start up on occasion is normal. No one replaces their engine for these issues......

Its got plenty more in her. I think you shouldnt dump thousands into another motor when you dont need it. Save your money for when you actually have to change. Or do what you please :)
