i wanted to get the rear wheels widened for a meaner look and little more traction and i see alot of member have done this

what is the widest you can go for the rear wheels 9.5 or 10 without doin any other modification i would like to go as wide as i can go wi love fat tires on the back :D

does it really make a difference in traction or is it mostly for looks or mostly for performance or both ?

about how much would this mod cost and what size tires to go with it, im almost about time for a new set of tires and seen alot of memebers go with the nitto 555's so when i get new tiree i wanna do the widened rear mod

also where would i go to get this kind of mod any wheel shop im in baltimore any1 inthhe area kno a spot that does good work for a good price

please give me some information thnaks alot guys

This is the ONLY place I'd recommend to widen wheels.

I just sent 6 to WeldCraft, I was told $225 per wheel for the 1 1/2" addition, and another $50 per wheel to sand the welds smooth.

You'll be needing wheel spacers to put 12" wheels on the back.

Hey bud you need to talk to james at weldcraft wheels in Livonia, Mi he is the man when it comes to widening/narrowing wheels and as stated the only man for the job! as for tire size your best bet would be a nitto 555 295/45 18

Anything past 9.5" wide and you must use a spacer to clear the added width, for example a 10" widened rear wheel must use 1/2" spacer, a 11" wheel must use a 1.5" spacer im currently running 11" wide rears and i think any thing wider would stick out past the wheel well, you want to maintain the factory look of keeping the wheels within the fenders, while giving it that mini tubbed look.
