I just wanted to introduce myself to this community. I have visted this site for a while and joined a couple of weeks ago but have not posted till today. I do not currently own a Marauder but hopefully will within the next year if things go as planned.
I have loved these cars since day one. My first introduction to them was on I-840 outside of Nashville where there is little traffic. This was right after the car had just been released. I had read about them in the magazines.
I was cruising about 70mph or so in the right lane honestly not really keen on everything around me as there had been no traffic. Suddenly a car blows by me in the left lane easily over a 100mph. It was a beautiful Marauder with dealer tags. Don't ask me how I caught that it had dealer tags going that quick but I did.I just remember thinking that is one lucky sales manager behind that wheel.
I have always remembered that encounter and have always had a soft spot for these cars.
I am drawn to Ford products and not the run of the mill ones.I have owned a 1989 Ford Probe GT. Rather odd car at that time with the turbo.I have also owned a 1993 Ford Thunderbird SC. Another odd car with the supercharger. I loved that car and should have never let it go. After that a string of suv's and company cars have followed.
Life has changed and it is about time to drive something I like again.
