Ok, finally changed my coolant today but must admit finding info. About it was less than straight forward. I hope admin consider making this a "sticky" as it covers both the procedure as well as burping. I found the following link which was helpful.

Even the dealership gave me conflicting information. Right now I have 6 qts of motor craft gold in mine to bring it to -12 degrees but was surprised I could only get about 2 qts of distilled water in it...even with draining both radiator and opening lower radiator hose. Sound about right?

I taped a funnel to the crossover, filled it up, ran it for 20 minutes, done. I really don't know what all the fuss is about. Or maybe I'm just that good.;)

I find that with the rear cooling mod (an original DR) I get less air in the system when either changing thermostat or any time i open up the cooling system.

If you read the Reisch Performance info they recommend just enough anti-freeze to keep the coolant from freezing. No more.
