Radio size

Hey everyone, already planning on radio upgrade on the car I haven't picked up yet. I've searched all over but can't really find some general information.

I've read about using the 2006 Mariner audiophile unit but I can't find much as far as aftermarket radios.

What size is the factory opening? Double din, din and a half? I assume an aftermarket double din radio will work just need to modify the opening a little bit?

Double din, with just a tiny bit of filing to the top & bottom edges.

Double DINs fit well.

Some of the double DIN chasis sizes vary a bit and may require some minor behind the dash modification.
