@ 90,000 miles. Picked up a new toy for daily driver duty .... the Blue MM will come out on weekends, car shows, Carlisle and Maraudervilles. :D

Pics in Post #20. A 2012 Ford Taurus SHO AWD. Tuxedo Black Metallic with Charcoal Black Leather seats. 32 miles on the ticker. Moonroof, Sony 12-speaker sound system, Heated & Cooled Seats, Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Sensing, Rear Camera, SYNC, Sirius, Ambient Lighting and all the bells and whistles. It'll take me a month to figure out all of the buttons. The ambient lighting is cool ..... I picked blue .... I might be green tomorrow .. or purple ... or red . Who would have guessed.

I am definitely liking it so far.

Sorry, no Pics yet .... got it home after dark. Maybe I''ll be able to get some tomorrow.

Excellent choice! If it could handle three car seats in the rear, I would drive one of those instead of the Marauder.

:congrats: on the new car Chuckie Cheese.
I haven't got a chance to drive the SHO version but I did drive a limited or premium version.

Your right there is a lot of electronic wizardry to figure out.

I found it a bit tight in the thigh area as the center console is very wide but your a wee bit smaller so I'm sure it will be comfortable for you.

Rear view mirror will also take a bit of time to get used to as visibility is limited by the high rear deck lid.

I do remember it being one of the quietest cars I've driven. Good luck with it.

Kind of surprised you didn't get a blue one though.;)

Hi to Bernie:)

Hi to Bernie:)

Eric,

No problem with the console. Merc gave me a heads-up on that. However, I have about 2" clearance for my right leg in normal driving position. Shouldn't be an issue.

I am already trying to get used to the rear view camera and rear sensing system. That will take a bit of practice and adjusting. So far so good.

Power seems fine and it does take off nicely. But no roar like the MM.

I drove a Blue SEL (Dark Blue Pearl) first so I could compare. No Blue SHOs in stock. They had a Red Candy and Tux Black SHO. I drove 'em both. Someone else was interested in the black one. Too bad. Its gone. :D

The Taurus SHO weighs in about 120 pounds more than the MM (4,370 lbs). Horsepower is 365 at the crank. Torque is 350. Grunt goes to the SHO. Very noticeable difference. Still like the roar of the MM though. :D

If you've never had a chance to drive one Sherman, talk Charlie into letting you take his for a spin, they're impressive cars. Ford done good with these.

For those not remembering--During MVVIII, Russ( 03mmmnroe), provided an SHO for our Bunny (Mary) to use on our race track feature day-----That was cool!!! ---

Oh.BTW Charlie,,, Congrats on your new car---and the color is top as you know!!!!!!!!!!
