Stumbled across this place today

http://genuinebumper.com/

Place has acres of bumpers, they have contracts to buy damaged ones from body shops all over the country. Asked the girl about Marauder bumpers, they have 2 front and 3 rears, showed me a inventory pic and it was the real deal. Rear price reconditioned, would only need paint,
was 913.00. That is typically the price to body shops, she said they would do better selling direct to the customer. They are in Kent, WA
Hope it helps.

not trying to flame/discourage/bad mouth this but something to consider:

my body shop told me back in october when i needed a bumper, that they order remanufactured/repaired bumpers from a local wholesaler and have to send 3/4 of them back because they were not repaired correctly. they also said they wouldn't order off the internet for parts like this due to the fact of them getting damaged in shipping, or not being fixed properly, and having to deal with getting a refund or replacement, which is obviously more of a hassle than they want/need to deal with.........just my $.02--whitey

Bingo! The problem is 2 things 1st is the employs doing repairs on damaged cores arent exactly high paid body techs, 2nd is some of the cores they repair are far beyond repair and will never be repaired to high quality. I have gotten recon bumpers from a place here in St Louis and no lie they have had stuff like mud/grass in them say on back side, from like a bumper that was replaced by ins co from a off road wreck. However I have seen many recons that were decent bumpers. Very often I would repair a bumper if I could if ins figured for a recon bumper cause atleast that way I knew what I had. If someone has damaged bumper and needs repair I could possibly repair it for them and ship back in primer just a thought. Also if you know a good shop and tell them the dilema with our covers and you need one repaired they could look into in house repair. It is simply the fact a estimator looks at a bumper and after x amount of damage simply just figure replace. Heck I had a srt frt bumper repl by ins co. I kept the damaged one took it home repaired it in 4 days and sold it on e-bay for 650.00 and buyer was thrilled with the part.

While I can't say the condition of the Marauder bumpers they have I was quite happy with the one I bought from them (they are local to me) for another car years ago. A lot of the time they are just used covers and the only thing that has been done to them is to prime them.

Never heard of anyone having problems with these, and you could buy an undamaged new front and a rear for the price of that "recond" OEM front.

I've bought aftermarket headlights/turn signals/glass and had no problems.

No Rear it is a copyright by Ford! and cars like Marauders with imbossed letters is Fords way or getting at aftermarket parts co.s. Ford has actively involved in niping at aftermarket crash parts providers. More so then alot of others car manufacters
