At this moment im not blessed to have 3 or 4 different cars to choose from to drive... I drive this car everyday. Monday through Sunday 24/7 365. A lot of the spare money i get doesn't go to performance mods.... but routine maintenance, about to spend 1k on tires in the real near future :-(
I dont want my car to be like anyone else's... it's mine and theirs is theirs. everyone cant lock it up in storage and let it sit for 6,7,8 months out the year.
I just felt like acknowledging my ppl who need new paint... rims... carpet... and engine work, etc cuz were in this car everyday. If i could give yall boys a trophy i would, dont gawk at someone else's and wish yours was like that, take pride in what u have. I know i need paint on my roof and trunk... but cant afford that right now. I will spray Meguiars on these tires and park it next to the cleanest MM out there and still be proud of mine. I love my battle damage, ppl still stop and stare at the car. Im gonna make a trophy and complement damn self

Engine bay is somewhat clean...

Countless nicks on the front bumper....

Good deep scratch on drivers side door bottom....

And my lovely roof.... i dont know why the pic came out like this.. it really doesnt look this bad... probably the glare from the sun.

Much respect to the Daily's, shoutout to Dom

If u feel like im bashing someone... oh well. But im sure someone will take it outta context. If u dislike anything about my car... and feel like im not taking care of it "good enough"... come and buy it. Has 110k on the clock, make a reasonable offer and we can talk. Help me into that G8 :D

Garage queens are a waste of good cars. Mine is my daily driver because I love driving it so much! I drive the MM more than I drive the Mustang even though when I bought the Mustang I envisioned it being the other way around.

Car looks good for a DD, Mac. Engine bay is decent, what are you using to keep it clean/how often you clean it?

I just retired my car from DD status with 73K on the clock. Still gets plenty of use on the weekends and traveling to meets, etc., just don't want to rack up miles on it faster than I have to. I have my share of paint issues, too; hopefully can work on these over the next few years as I want to keep my MM for a looooong time.

Well said. I have paint chipping away on the roof and curb rash all 4 of my wheels. But i still love driving. And yes i agree with SC Cheesehead for a DD your engine bay looks a whole hell of a lot cleaner than mine. Daggum

Hooray for the DD's. I'll put my never garaged, 267K mile, workhorse up against anyones. Also, don't fear the mods, they only help longevity.

Mine are not daily drivers but they see their fair share of battle damage. My lowest mileage one is 47,000 miles and I loved every minute in it. I just happen to really like these cars and they seem to have taken over as my hobby too. I doubt any of them will be show queens. I take no offense at what you said. Just glad to know each and every one of Ya'll. Although I will probably never get to meet most of you in person.

Yea mine is my DD 120k on the clock. I have put 108k on her my self in the seven years i have owned it. As stuff goes out I will replace with better where i can. Have done water pump, cops, lmc, window regulators ect. I have gone through and fixed paint chips and dings a few years back. Got brakes to go in it and needs an A/C overhaul. But it still makes me smile when i get in to drive.

Ordered my '04 SB brandy-new from the dealer back in '03 and drove it everyday until 3 Thanksgivings ago when I realized the car (and car related activities) was one of my favorite hobbies. I didn't want to pile on the miles basically because I want to enjoy my hobby as long as possible and they aren't making Marauders anymore. Now that Eric has his own Marauder, we enjoy doing cruise nights and Marauder meets together, but for longer trips we drive mine because he's got low miles on his. That works for me! I finally retired my car from DD with just over 100K on the clock. Yes I know I could prolly find another lower mileage SB to replace this one if I continued to drive it daily, but I'm emotionally attached to this one. :o But I definitely miss commuting in the Marauder! It always puts a smile on my face when I'm behind the wheel. ( I do not miss driving it in the snow though. Even with the steelies and snow tires it was a handful.) My Aviator, while not exciting by any means, at least gives me piece of mind during the winter months, and it has the Mach 1 engine so I'm not a complete sell out.LOL Now Eric and I try to get out to as many meets/events as possible so we can drive and enjoy the cars as they were meant to be enjoyed and driven. I think it's great that you drive yours daily! It still looks good! I guess what I wish... is that I could still "have my cake and eat it too!";)

appreciate that, i clean it with water and a rag. the simplest and cheapest route. then wipe some of the things down with black magic tire shine... keeps it somewhat presentable.

Just rolled over 85k, putting about 400 on her a week. Hoping to get the SC kit finished soon and keep rolling for awhile.

I bought a beater truck to retire her but the truck is just not reliable enough for my daily 70 mile commute. Even when it is running right I still miss my car and drive her at least 2 days a week.

Hardest thing for me was excepting the small dings and other stuff the comes with being a DD. I finally accepted it because I know I'll take care of her and do a full repaint once she has been fully retired for awhile.

Man. The front of my MM looks as if someone took an automatic BB gun and just blasted the crap out of it. Luckliy I keep up and touching up the chips................... A LOT!!!

But what ever. Its a driver. Whats the point of having a car sit in the garage? I had a garage queen and it got REALLY BORING having it sit under a cover 3/4 of the year.

Its all about the smiles per miles my MM gets!!

I've read people say their cars are not daily drivers. I am going to drive this car every day that I can, after its been Eaton swap and all. Love this car and enjoy driving it everyday, (except in snow freaking scary with no TC) i'm with you..

My former Marauder and the current one have been DDs, but now that Blue is blown, she's gonna get the garage and the Mustang will become the DD, but I'm gonna drive the hell out of them both
