I put mine in my crown victoria it's a great mod to have for Long trips in the car to rest your foot . My step dad just got his and now my gramps wants one .

For big guys on long trips, they really make the car more comfortable to drive. I've had mine for a couple of years now and like it a lot. I've yet to hear of any one having a dead pedal that would take it out because they didn't like it.

I've had a chance to drive a couple GM rentals since then, and I can notice the difference; no decent place to put my left foot without the dead pedal.

I.didnt think it was a big deal until i tried one. Not not a big guy either. 6ft 155 lbs. Just makes the car more comfortable. Gives your left foot to go. Feels natural. Besides.that, during WOT gives you 2 pedals to mash on!

The dead pedal is an excellent mod! at 6'6" its a welcome addition on long, and short trips.

The hype is about the fact that a member here created a VERY high quality part that utilizes factory install points for a part that shouldve been OEM...that looks OEM.

I personally love mine! I purchased it off a member on CVN, and as soon as I bought it I ordered a black anodized pedal cover in the grid finish from SRP pedals. At 6'3" and an autocrosser, it keeps you planted, as well as keeps your left leg comfortable on the long trips.
