I have one but I just got it in September last year, not yet ready to part with it. I'll keep an eye out for you. I love my Sport, hope you find one.

Hey Dave,
Sounds like a nice little Ranger....
I've got a turbo, exhaust manifold and intercooler off an '88 Turbo T-bird......:D

(Also have a ported Esslinger aluminum head and a 2.5L crank....but I'm not selling them!)

2 dr or 4 dr, Dave?

I had a '96, same engine and trans combo, regularly got around 30 mpg on the highway with it.

Jeez!......:mad2:

How come I can barely get 22 mpg out of my 3.sl0w V6 driving mostly highway miles like grandma??

That turd Vulcan is a gas guzzling dog!

If I only had the cash for a 3.7L V6/6 speed auto swap....:(

(I could get 26-28 mpg highway out of my '89 Taurus with the same 3.sl0w V6.)

its a 2dr Rex.

Joe, you answered your own question. the 3.0 is a total turd. its 4 banger power with 4.0 fuel suckage, well slightly better then the 4.0.

i had to put new tires on it today, she wouldnt pass inspection as the old ones were shot. its funny buying these little tires, i only paid 500 for all 4 instaleld with 100 dollar mail in rebate. i couldnt even get 2 tires for that much for the bronco.

Interesting observation! After getting my truck, I joined the Ranger forum as well, and the 3.0's are not well thought of by many over there, either.

I had a 4.0 in my '01 as well as in my new truck, and am very pleased with it; although I'm starting to dig around for info on tunes, etc. for it (durn mod bug, anyway....). Mileage so far is averaging teens around town, 20-ish on the highway.
