I have been lurking here for some time and thought I would finally introduce myself. I picked up a 2003 300a last week and I'm stoked with my new Marauder. It has 76,000 miles and has been very well cared for, only problem thus far is the squeaky hood. Marauder's rule!!

Welcome to the "Machine"!

Good looking MM!

Hood squeak is an easy fix.

Welcome to the maddness!! Nice MM you have!!

I used the rubber hood bumpers off of a f-250, adjusted my hood stops, and a little lube on the hood latch

Thanks, I'll look into getting some f-250 hood bumpers. I'm very obsessed with this car, I think it would be cool to collect a few more, lol!

Im sure they are the same for a F150 or 350 or Excursion. That just happend to be the truck I took them off of from my work truck:D and they work great!!

^^ Orange County^^

One thing I did notice when looking for my MM, there aren't too many of these on the West coast. I have only seen one other MM during the last 6 months.

I read somewhere that most MM went to Florida for some reason.

Here's an estimate of where the MMs went originally and as of November 2010.

THIS IS ONLY AN ESTIMATE BASED ON POPULATION DISTRIBUTION

Here's a little different view of the "By State" estimated distribution of Marauders. Black numbers = Original Distribution of 11,052 MMs. Red numbers = Current estimate of remaining MMs as of November 2010.

The original average works out to be 1 Marauder for every 29,522 people. :D Now the average is about 1 MM for every 49,784 people.

With the exception of California and Texas, the overwhelming majority are East of the Mississippi.

^^ Interesting, when new my car was purchased in CO and transported to CA by the original owner. Guess he couldn't find one closer. Thanks for the map btw!

Only 6.555 left as of 2010??? What happened to the other 4497? That is a very scary fatality rate!
