Well folks, I've decided it's time to move on. It been a nice 7.5 year run with my DTR since buying it new.

I'll be trading it in on a brand new Dodge Challenger R/T tomorrow after work. Only one more day to spend with my MM. Kinda sad but it's time. The odometer reads 99,800.

And I've joined the crowd of black color enthusiasts. It's a 2012 black with the 5.7L hemi and the 6 speed. Will get pictures later in the week.

Drive your baby to 100,000 k and take a pic of it :) that will stay in your mind for years to come . Best of luck with the new car.

You should load the stock tune back in it and sell the tuner, take the coil covers off and replace with stock, etc.... No sense in giving it to the dealer.....

Sorry your selling your DTR, I hope the Challenger rewards you as the Marauder has for many years.

If you by chance get the opportunity to go to the SRT experience driving school, I recommend it, it will let you know what the car is capable of, even though yours won't be an SRT, handling is very similar.

I would be interested in the tune and coil covers.

Sorry to hear this Jon; but understand moving on. Looks like we are gonna try to put together another visit to the Air & Space Center over near Dulles like several years ago. Stay in touch here. Have fun with the Challenger R/T.

good luck on the new ride. The wife and I looked at one of those and I would not replace my MM with one. We also looked at the Camaro and did not care for it She ended up with the neew 5.0 in Kona Blue. Nice!

I'll say in the small amount of time I've had, the handling is very good. I got the upgraded tire package, Goodyear Eagles and the Super Track Pack handling package.

Thanks a lot Charlie. I appreciate it. It's just time to move on. Nothing wrong with the MM just want a different experience. I will try to stay in touch. You're a great guy, Charlie.

Thank you! I had to choose between the Kona Blue 5.0 and this and took this. Oh well. Good luck with the 5.0! I still love Fords.

What dealer can I find your Marauder at?
You did not want the BIG hemi SRT8?

jonroe

It is at Fair Oaks Dodge in Chantilly, VA. Sure, I wanted an SRT8 but not at near 50 large.

Hope your 5.7 treats you better than mine did (Magnum R/T). That being said, the new Challys are extremely sharp, so congrats!

Thank you all for the well wishes.

And, thank you all for 7.5 years of extremely valuable information, comraderie, and total class shown on this web site. It has made owning the Marauder a much better experience than it would have been otherwise.

I'm very appreciative. I might stop in once in awhile to see what's going on.

Regards,

Jon
