Issues : car trouble : 03 Marauder

[Horsepower]

1. Engine light is on - code indicates engine is running lean
2. Exhaust tone seems to drone ...Alot ( could be my imagination )
3. Engine is not shifting smoothly .... At all
4. A/C unit is currently hot-wired to the battery. This issue I haven't had checked by a true mechanic. The battery trick is something I learned over the years.
5. Tap tap tap tap tAp tap tap or click click click click click has been coming from my engine since day 1. I've finally got enough heart to get it checked. It sound like its my flywheel but I'm praying to god it is not

These are the problems I'm currently having with my rauder. I'll more then like have the fixed over the next couple of weeks. Would just like opinions , insight and what to expect from the 2 engine issues I'm having. Those problems will surely be assessed first. I've had a tune up done at 100k ... Plugs were changed , coils ( Probly didn't need to be ) , PCM replaced ... Etc ... JLT CAI was added and flow masters were also installed. Other then that , regular upkeep has been met. Car mileage is 117k

Well hopefully it turns out to be nothing. Mine has ticked since 2004 when I got it. Sometimes it is noticeable enough to make me think I should check the oil, most times you have to strain to hear it. Who knows what causes it. Never stopped me from getting busy! :beer:

Gear one to gear two and so on seems like a drag ... Maybe it's due to the trans , throttle body ( I'm no real Albert vehiclestein )... When I drive my mother's maxima it shifts quick while driving ( basiclly it doesn't feel like the car is trying to climb a hill while shifting ). My marauder seems to lag from gear one to gear two. It would help if I could let you drive it for few and see exactly what my jist is lol

When did you install the JLT? You may have pulled oil off it onto the MAF and its throwing it off. Was the code for only one bank? That may just be a O2 sensor problem or the EGR. I had a bank one lean code just from my EGR tube leaking which may be the source of your constant ticking.

As far as the exhaust drone, Flowmasters do that...

Yup, that'll help a lot with diagnosis, may be as minor as gas cap on wrong, can't tell without getting the actual code.

I previously had this problem a year ago. At that time my intake wasn't installed properly. Tomorrow is the day I find out what it is though. Just needed to see if other owners had similar issues.
