There's a wrecking yard in toledo (http://www.woodvilleautoparts.com/) that has two Mach 1, automatic trans engines for $2500. They are both very low mile engines that came straight from Ford. The auto mach engines are the same as those in Marauders.
Check out www.car-part.com (http://www.car-part.com) and search for a Mach 1, auto trans engine.
You won't have to provide a core so you can sell yours to offset the cost. You can also sell teh Mach 1 intake and valve covers.

Deleted my post. I gotta pay attention better. The ad I linked clearly stated "not for DOHC".....duh!
Good luck with your search.

Do you mean the shop that closed down last year? The same one I've been helping sell all their extra parts?

All 03/04 cobra engines have been beat to death and also have that terrible 8.5:1 compression ratio. Unless it's a fresh engine I would pass on any used 03/04 long or short-block.
