Anybody know what this picture is about? Found it on the web but there was no description. Are there any assembly line photos available anywhere?

This was the Ford Dealer introduction event. I was there the day all the local Ontario Ford Dealers got to go to the plant for the 'Official Launch' of the 03 Marauder. They had over 100 of them outside the plant that day. We had a 2 hour seminar on the history of the car, plus development on the new 03 model. After that, we got to go on a 'parade' route, driving the car onto the local highway up one exit, then turned around and came back to the plant. The local OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) escorted us and had the highway ramps closed. As we did the turnaround on the overpass (I was mid-pack), all you could see was a huge line of black MM's going both directions. When we got back, we took a tour of the St Thomas plant. Some dealers then got to drive their car (each MM was fully prepped, ready to go, with dealer ID, and labeled, so you knew which car was yours) back to the dealer, while others (like mine) were shipped via transport 8 days later. A very cool event for the Dealers. Unfortunately, they were pretty strict on ID's so we were not able to 'smuggle' in our customers with us. Too bad we don't get to do stuff like this anymore.

That's because it has all the leftover Marauder parts in it after they closed the factory.

+1, it's stories like this that add a bit of special info, something to kick aound whenever we get together and talk about the cars, good stuff!
