Hi Everyone.

My girlfriend wrecked my 03a MM after only owning it for three weeks. We were 7hrs from home in Covington, Ga. and it is being repaired at ABRA in Conyers. I hope they do a good job. i didn't know much about them due to the distance thing, but I found no complaints filed against them.
Anyway, i think the rear axle has to be replaced, if so, I may ask ABRA to put in a new axle with 4.10 gears already in place? Does anyone know the part number for this axle or what vehicle it may come stock on?

Thanks,
brian stevens

No such animal. You can't purchase an axle ass'y complete like that. You have to buy it piece by piece.

The 4.10's are through Ford Motorsport. You can get them through most ford parts counters or via Reinhart Automotive on this site.

Logan is correct. I work at Ford and I could make a mint if I could sell complete axle assemblies.

And if you go to the parts department of most Ford dealers, and ask them for 4.10 gears for the Marauder, they will tell you that there is no such thing available and only 3.55's are listed because they don't know didley. You'll have to ask them for 4.10 gears for a Mustang. Atleasy most dealers' parts departments are like that. If you go to a Ford Motor sport dealer, then they might be differnt, I dunno. You can get them from Dennis like Logan said, or from elsewhere too. As long as they're Ford gears then the deal;er will have no problem installing them. I'd highly recommedn Ford gears anyway, because if you get another brands such as Richmond gears, then they will make a whining noise even when they're installed correctly. Ford gears don't do that.

Yes,

We're both OK. Just a few bruises and a little whiplash. Thanks for asking.
