So I'm having some brake problems on my marauder. I recently had the front pads replaced and the rotors turned, to get rid of some brake pulsing I was having. This was two or three months or so ago, and the pulsing was gone. The pulsing is back now, under anything but light braking.
I also have some air in my lines that I need to bleed out - pumping the brakes makes them much stiffer and the car easier to stop so I assume that's more than likely air in the system. My question is: could the air in the lines cause something in the brakes to warp the front rotors again? Did the mechanic shave them down too far? Also, they may be aftermarket rotors (bought the car used, and they're slotted rotors - are stock rotors slotted?), so i guess it's possible that their cheap chinese crap, too, right?
I'm planning on bleeding the air (probably swapping the fluid at the same time). Would it be safe to just go ahead and replace the rotors at the same time? Do I need to do pads, too, in order to get rid of the pulsing, even though they're only a few months old?
