Just wondering if the tuner's been married to you VIN, if so, may not be able to transfer tunes to another vehicle.

Would also be helpful to list what year, if they are for NA and if not for 04 list the PCM code. I think all 2004 models have the code MAV2 for the PCM. I know 2003 has several codes.

bmd0, crd1, mav2 are the codes, however i have an early build mm, 206th, and i have a fdh3, which is compatible with the bmd0.

Zack has repeatedly said all 03 tunes will work in all 03's. Same goes for 04's. Just passing on what I've read, hope it helps the sale.

I thought that's what unlocked meant? I'm confuddled.

Return it to stock and it's good. I bought mine used and it's fine.

"Unlocked" means you can access the tune parameters to make changes. A lot of tuners will "lock" their programs after downloading them onto an SCT so that you can't mess with 'em.

Gotcha!

FYI...
If you return to stock and don't unlock the unit, the next person can use the tune, but when they return to stock, the tuner will return the vehicle back to the original vehicle stock tune.

Example: I had an Excal 2 used with my original Marauder. After it's demise I returned it to stock. I then loaded a tune for my CVPI and installed it. Things were great until I returned the CVPI back to stock. You guessed it, it put the stock Marauder tune back into the CVPI. It didn't work well......Not at all, so I put the tune back on the CVPI then unlocked the unit.

So, after all of the discussion, does anybody have questions that haven't been answered?
