I have KYB police shocks on the front and new OEM ones on the rear.

My rear KYB's lasted 10K miles before one of them blew. The OEM rear shocks ride much better than the KYB's.

OEM's are made by Tokico(sp) Never had an issue with them in over 100k before I replaced them when the suspension mods went in.

+1 on Monroe Severe Service shocks which I replaced for the front of mine.

Rear shocks are still OEM.
