would I have a problem with this Ford GT pump

See the bottom where the sock would connect. On the left pump. Its broken at the bottom. im thinking it wouldn't be a issue but should i buy another one just to be on the safe side ? sorry for the crappy pics . I'm trying to take more now

The one on my new pump broke too. I think it will be ok. Mine is so far.
