View Full Version : Cobra K&N Kit for Eaton Swap?

Was wondering if anyone knows if the K&N kit (Part# 57-2545) would fit when doing an eaton swap.

It's the kit that was made for the 2003-2004 svt cobra, just not sure if it would still fit under our hoods after performing an eaton swap with our engine bay.

What's all included in the kit? It's a pretty snug fit over on that side, if you're looking at a cover or filter surround, prolly too tight for anything but the filter element.

Their cobra kit comes with and looks like their marauder kit, with the molded intake tube, just reversed since the intake is on the other side. Just not sure if everthing would fit, changing so much in the engine bay.

If it's a replacement intake tube for the OEM Cobra part, it should work okay. I'm running a C&L aluminum tube designed for an '03/'04 Cobra and it fits fine. Things get tight past the MAF, doubt that you could fit the heat shield in the space, the filter element is pretty snug in the available space.
