I'm not sure if I have a wiring issue or not. My car is currently in an auto electric shop and they are telling me my computer is bad. The problem is my fuel pump isn't coming on. I've replaced the pump and everything related to it but my problem isn't the actual pump because I had the old one tested and it came on. So the shop was trying to diagnose the problem and they said they are having problems communicating with my ECM and the reccomend replacing the computer. But they said that may not fix the problem and they want 1100 dollars just to replace the ECM.

Ive had a similar problem in past & was the FPDM! The PCM wasnt recognizing the FPDM. I got a stock FPDM if ya need it 25.00 plus the ride...

I got a FPDM from Silversurfer. He works at the junkyard near me. I believe he got it off a CV for me and I swapped it with mine and still nothing. Maybe that one was bad too? Or I need one specifically for a Marauder??

Nope there the same Ford FPdm are generic. I hate parts chasing sometimes. U try fuel intertia switch by chance? I have seen them go bad on other Fords before the button will be in down position but internaly it losses contact. Or & U may have addressed this U have power to everything in trunk for fuel?

I swapped the inertia switch also and tested the plug for the inertia switch and the fpdm and neither had power to them. Even tried to give direct power to the pump but couldn't get it to come on.

I'm sure all relays and fuses related to the fuel system been changed?

Yep swapped the relay under the hood with the horn relay, replaced the 20 amp fuse in the #5 spot. Swapped the inertia switch and the fpdm..

Not sure how good you are with a meter but I would check at the fuse and relay for power. The power starts there.
