I need to remove pulley on the alternator!! I need this tool ASAP. Can anyone overnight it? I will reimburse when shipping back.

I took mine to the local Ford dealer and they removed the pulley for free.

local ford doesnt have, now tomorrow being saturday I dont think most places near me will be open.

If someone has one and can do overnight or same day, I will reimburse when I send it back.

Check tool rental dept at Auto Zone. Tool KT 20323.
What color loctite is recomended on reinstallation of nut ?
What is recomended torque setting of nut ?

If you're going to head out to an Autozone, you might as well stop by an alternator/electric motor rebuilder. They ought to have the tool and could probably remove the pulley while you wait.
Up here, shops like that are usually open 'til noon.

When mine was out on loan I removed it pretty easily using a nut I found that was a super tight fit and an impact.

As for installing, I've never used lock tight, or torque specs. Just zinged her on with the impact as well.

Over nighting would be quite costly, but I have one I will loan out if the above mentioned doesn't work.

I am assuming they didn't have the tool part # you asked if they had a alternator removal / installation tool for a ford ?
