Hello all,
So now that my project is nearing the end, I'm looking for a factory fusible link for the MM alternator. I have 2 different fusible links from other Ford cars, but the connectors won't fit. It appears that the MM alt takes a "D-shaped" plug, while the ones I have oval plugs. I was going to see if I could just get the connector and swap my wiring into it, but I doubt the terminals are the same between the two.
So basically I am looking for a stock(and in good working order)fusible link with the connectors on both ends. So if anyone has one lying around, or knows where I can get one fairly cheaply, I am looking to buy.
Thanks for looking and have a nice day.

Do you have any pictures?

The fusible link is directly in the battery cable harness which goes to the fuse block next to the battery, over to the alternator, and down to the starter. I just replaced mine with no EM part, I was told it was the last one in the country.

^^^^Correct.
Mine doesn't go to the starter, but I need the (2) wires that go from the alternator, over to the pass fender, along with the two connectors at either end.
You telling me you got the last one in the country does not bode well for me lol :'( that sucks.
Anyone know of any aftermarket sources? I've tried searching but was unable to find much.
Thanks.
And no one wants to see my stupid grand monkee project LMAO!

I'll look at the harness I took out, you could have it if you want, but I know the alternator wire was cut. I don't have it at my place, but if I get a chance tonight, I'll take some pics of it.

^^^ Thank you!
BTW even if the wire was cut, I can use the connectors and just swap my wiring into it.
