Marauder coming along

Wind storm in end of February did some damage to the Marauder

Insurance wrote it up for $1235 sent me a check minus deductable

Aftermarket fender and mirror :censor::mad::argue: buff roof and doors where the branch scuffed it...

I put a black mirror from a 03 Marquis on there so I could drive it and save some labor..

Brought it to my buddys shop calls me today..

We are fixing the fender since it has the VIN tag so it will still be original and we will strip and re-prime the roof and repaint to fix the "Damage" and get rid of the bad factory paint on the roof which was not bad but is checkering some.

He has the insurance up to $3000 now I may not have to even pay as much as the check I already got!!

I sure can, I had an 18" limb fall on the Vic I was driving last summer during a storm, it totaled the car..... and then some.:(

You should see all the line items that got added up!!

Proper way to paint is remove the windows and all the trim as masking will always leave a mark!! The windshield is still there though

Keep the photos.
If you ever have to sell your Marauder, the CarFax will show the accident.
I would buy your Marauder with the photos showing the minor damage and that it was professionally repaired.
(Without the photos, the accident could raise other questions.)

Trust me this is saved for life! I doubt I will ever sell the Marauder but one never knows!

I would have to be pretty clever to stage that, you can even see the dug up soil where the branch landed

Did not even end up paying the deductable, and got the roof stripped and primed and the whole car wet sanded and buffed. Gotta go back in a month after the paint hardens more.
