I'm currently having issues with my MM not starting. It's in an electrical shop now and they are telling me my ECM is dead. I had them take it out so I can send it off to be rebuilt rather them charge me 600 for a new one. Plus they said that might not still fix the problem when we get the new ECM in. So I was wondering if anyone near me in the DMV area would be willing to hook up my ECM in their MM so I can see if it is actually dead and preventing my car from starting. I'm located in Alexandria, VA minutes from DC and MD.

Yup, its on the driver door jam. Its also on the computer. But thats not gonna work because of the PATS system. I guess you may be able to swap ingnition cylinders to so you can use your key in someone elses car too.

Why not take it to the dealer?

Well I already have it in an electrical shop and they said they could program it after I take it back to them. I guess they have the equipment to do it because he said he will need all keys that I have to be programmed.

Did the shop say that there is no power to the PCM?

Ask Zack to shut off the PATS. That's what I did. I got stranded once from a bad key, not again.
