I just had these tires installed on my widen rear rims a few days ago. I've spoken to 2 of my friends who have the same set up & use them for street use on their Marauders as well . One of them is running 28 lbs & the other is running 30 lbs. While I have my own idea's on the tire pressure for these tires I'm just looking to hear from a few members here who have the same set up & see what tire pressure they use & why .Thanks .

These are drag radials. They are good but I wouldn't use them in any wet weather. DRY ONLY....

I run 40psi in mines, anything less results in poor handling.

These are not DRAG RADIALS...as Natehawk has said. These are "Street Legal Drag Radials".

I've been running these with the widened rims and a supercharged car for several years.

I run around 35+ PSI and have never had an issue. Better yet I get the full 10K+ out of them. I had my first set installed at 27K and am at 39.5K now and am on my 2nd set.

I don't burn the hell out of them...if you do of course the life is a lot shorter.

I find no reason to run these tires at lower pressure for every day driving. If you're racing on them...drop them to 30 or below...absolutely.

I run 23psi on my NT05 and the car dead hooks at a 20mph roll. If you want a great hooking street tire next time you buy these.
I have tried the 555r and the M/T but the NT05 is superior in many ways. That's my experience.

What size are you running and do you have widened rims (9.5")??

Thanks,

After reading all your responces and also considering that the 2003's use's 32 lbs in the rear & the 2004 use's 34 lbs in the rear by factory spec's , taking into consideration the size of this tire, type of tire and weight of the marauder I've adjusted the tire pressure to what I believe to be best. Thank you for your input.

Why do you run them so low? I have mine set to 35-38 psi. Yes these tires really hook and grip really well through the twisties. The 20x10s with 315s in the rear really give me the traction out back hitting the corners unbelievable the old BFGs would scream and even break loose over the same road. Actually pretty shocked at how quiet and comfy the ride is...ill give it a week or so and start up a new review for the Nitto NT05s.

28 psi, bigger tire needs less pressure. Do a burn out until you get a maximum width contact patch on the street, you will find 28 is about perfect.

My tubbed out Camaro runs 15psi.

I use the drag radials and I like them set up for straightnline performance.
