I am considering a unit like this. http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-AVH-P3400BH-Multimedia-Widescreen-Bluetooth%C2%AE/dp/B006YBQ724
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oPUJgQqtroA For $334 it seems reasonable. Does anyone here have experience with it? It should fit nicely as long as it is a 2 din unit right?

With slight modifications to the opening it will fit nicely.

I have the predecessor to that unit in my F450 and I like it a lot.

Thanks for the info. Do you guys think this is something relatively easy to install? I am wondering if I can do it myself. I've installed a couple of easy radios before.
I don't really understand why modifications to the opening are needed if it is a double din.

My understanding is that there is a lip ...or two on the plastic part of the dash that the screen sits against that prevents it from sitting like it should or fitting in, so that has to be filed...not completly sure though...

Thanks! I'll research the lip issue. I am sure this has been discussed on this site before.

Yes, the lips they help hold the radio in but since this I'd aftermarket shave them down on all the side so it fits. With thus being down u will not be able to pit factory radio back in unless u buy the whole black trim from junk yard.

How did you know I was looking at this exact same head unit? Stop reading my mind! ;)
