Im thinking of moving my trans temp gauge up to the a pillar to fill an empty hole, and puting a water temp gauge in where trans was in from of shifter.
Looking at autometer gauges, I was wonder what range the coolant of the intercooler is.
ambient to ? 150?
that should do it right.

why not?? ha ha
should be easy to install.
I dont think intake air temp would get over 150 in bad conditions
http://www.autometer.com/cat_gaugedetail.aspx?ref=searc h&gid=3204 might work, 2 5/8 though, isnt fake gauges 2 1/16th?

If you're seeing IATs in excess of 150*, you've got issues you'll want to deal with right quick... ;)
Hottest I've seen on my car was in the mid-140's and this was heat-sinked after sitting for a few minutes on a 100*+ amibient day.

Get a wideband instead, it will be more helpful.

+1 on this and a set of aeroforce guages. It reads of youre IAT2 sensor, plus so much more well worth the money.
