I sold my DD due to financial reasons so I'm joining the diehard year-round Marauderer's who use theirs as daily drivers..hopefully nothing longer then a year though..***** happens. :burnout:

That's how it is, trying to find a DD that is EQUALLY as fun to drive as the mm.

Had it as my DD from the beginning with no regrets, though it does hurt a little every time the odometer crosses another 1,000mi mark! I almost retired it to weekend duty last winter when I toyed with getting a very used 98 Outback, but couldn't bring myself to do it.

Timw,

Just curious...how much did it run you to get the exhaust setup you have?

My Marauder was my Daily Driver except no trips to beach or snow and not driven in the rain. I purchased my Marauder with 28609 miles and 1.5 years old. The previous owner drove at 15,000 a year and I was putting 7,000 miles a year on it or half of the miles per year.
I used my Bronco for the other trips and also Home Depot. Look what happened to mine this month – totaled (other thread). The value of the Marauders have gone down (according to KBB and the insurance companies) due to age.
So smaller damage will now total your Marauder if it gets in an accident.
You may want to keep another DD. Jim

I got the mufflers swapped out at a local shop for $80 and the cats deleted at another place that was "cool" with removing them and charged $70...but they kept the cats.

A Marauder for a daily driver is a great way to put a smile on your face every day. Just keep em clean so they look nice. Mine survived the winter very well, with snow tires and steel rims,,185.000 km and runs like new, I can't wait ti hit 200,000 !

Mine is a DD with a Winter Beater/backup to soak up some miles

It has sucked as I have not seen the Marauder in over a week now while it's in the body shop

I had misfire problems with the 96 beater turned out a slow leak from the intake slowly filled the #4 plug well abruptly misfiring like heck. I am convinced this is due to the car knowing the Marauder is not around. I spent all Saturday R&R the Intake and fix the leak so the Marauder will be ready in a few days. If I waited to fix the beater it would have been another week for the Rauder
