Yep, I'm 10.5:1 with 13lbs of boost and no issues. And that motor will be just fine on boost too.

As a newbe to this deal, what has to be changed for an automatic application as it states for manual transmission?

My buddy NATEHAWK has an aluminator with 10:1 compression making about 500RWHP on HIGH BOOST!!! :burnout:

I have an alluminator with the Trillogy 435 rwhp w stock headers the motor can handle 700 HP @ the crank. Shipped its a 1000 less than retail. If your on the fence make the jump!!!

so pretty much the same as rebuilding it right? wouldn't one be better off just to send off to lidio to be bored & stroked and filled with the forged essentials.

It must come with a flywheel and you would need to swap that for a flexplate to connect to the torque converter on an auto.

It should be a significantly stronger block than the stock Marauder block and would be a better starting point for a high power application.

Our blocks can take up to 1000hp. If you can find a good local engine builder, get a price. That Aluminator is a great deal, but, they normally cost a lot more than that and it's rare to find deals like this one.

Sitting around for that long, it would need a pre lube through the oil pressure sender hole to lube everything up. Start that like it is, it'll likely seize or hurt the bearings and cam journals.

No warranty if it is new either, read the boards, look at all the killed Aluminators, warranty's have been refused on more than one. Also, if Lidio builds you a motor, guess what, no warranty.
These things are going to get S/C'd, ran the hell out of, I wouldn't warranty that either.

The thing about mod motors is once the rings are seated they are ready for a beatdown. If they hold up they are good if not they will show it. After that if something goes wrong its usually due to bad running or negligence.

I think from the replies & info in listing he is just going to great lengths to seperate himself & sale from any implied/inferred warranty or buyer issues/claims if it were to fail.

They ARE forged. Just 10.1:1 cr, which, is prone to detonation when sc'd if not tuned right. Ford is covering their butts is all. It's a great deal for what it is.

Frankly Gentleman, This guy has all sorts of Ford parts in his inventory.
The engine he is selling (in question) is " Photo and Specs may Var. ????
What does that mean. I asked the question before and no one wants to answer.
This guy says it's 2yrs old, who knows how old it really is? Did Ford build
Aluminators at the Romeo plaint, or were they Termanators? I don't remember which.
Third, If the engine is so low priced then why not have it disasmebled and checked out
for balanced, forged parts and all the other aspects concerning this type engine.
Some how I think a display engine is exactly that a display.
One guy suggested prelubing the engine before first start. Good Ideal.
If Lido, Zack or who ever builds engines for you tell you it is ok then I would trust to them rather than some guy for ebay whos sole purpose is to sell you an engine that is not warrented. At the very least take it apart and look it over before investing in other parts like a blower or other add ons. If your engine builder says the engine is ok then
problem solved. end of discussion. I would never trust some one else opinion on something like this with out some sort of checking it out first. That is why my engines
last so long and run so good. Best of luck to all concerned.

No,No like stated all FRPP motors with 10.1 will say for not S/C application due to comp ratio. This motor has all the good internals just like the 8.5:1 Alluminators. As for this motor as long as all ports were covered up when on display I wouldnt have any fear of the motor. As for warranty like Spectragod stated it's built for high HP & gonna get rode hard all builders have this disclaimer. Frankly I wouldnt think twice had this come about when I built my car.

Their words not mine!
We here all know the higher compression is best with a S/C to get our heavy cars moving early in the powerband. That's why Lidio built me a stroker with slightly higher C/R than comes on this Aluminator. This is a great buy for a MM owner with S/C and a stock block, or for a normally aspirated MM with a tired engine.
Good buy for someone here!

I have 20,000 boosted miles on my N/A Aluminator.
Mine has an ID tag on it that says Ford Racing, Romeo Plant.
I paid $6800 for mine.
If I had the bux or more importantly a place to store it I would pick it up just to have.
