What kind of gaskets are you using if you have short or long tube headers? I will be putting short tubes on soon and was curious what new gaskets to get. Part numbers/links/pics would be appreciated. Thanks!

Use Ford OEM gaskets for headers or manifolds. They are metal and blow through proof.

+1 I didn't even buy new ones. Mine were getting rusty and had 85,000 miles on them and they still sealed perfectly.

On a side note, auto zone or advance both sell stud and nut kits with locking nuts, factory style in oddball packs of like 10 each. I highly suggest it.

I've done headers on 3 different Modulars and never had a problem with the stock gaskets. More important is to use either locking header bolts of factory studs so the fasteners don't back out. I used a combination of the 2, depending on what fit the easiest.

Reused my stock ones for my recent longtube install. Working fine.
