Does anyone on here use the Superchips brand programmers?

I saw a guy on here saying that he lost his original shift points and was pissed. Am I correct in thinking that would be form going to an actual tune shop?

Could it hurt to try it out?

The reason I ask a guy wants me to buy his Superchips programmer and said I can try it before I buy it. However, if it is a waste of tim,e of can screw my car up I am out. Thanks for the input guys.

I tried the Superchips 1725 or whatever way back when. Noticed no difference over stock. However, I didn't customize any of the settings but I believe there were options to do so.

IMO, best bang for the buck is to go with an xCal tuner, and a tune from either Mo's or Lidio at Alternative Automotive.

These guys have had tons of experience tuning Marauders, they'll give you a quality product, and stand behind their work.

Literally hundreds of MM folks are running their tunes, maybe a handful (at most) have tried Superchips, that oughta tell you something.

Backed it out, no problems. Returned to stock tune. Then called to get a lidio tune.

Smart move, bet you were well pleased with the results.
