Today with the help of Blown 3.8 we got my dual pump setup installed. As well I'm running (1) 40amp BAP, (1) Modified FPDM, all upgraded wire 10g from the FPDM to the pumps, added relay and 10g dedicated power feed. The fuel line was also drilled out to allow more fuel flow...Epoxy was used to seal the wires and passed them through a -10an bulk fitting.

This is going to sound stupid but do you have to drill another hole in the gas tank to run duel pumps?

Great job Natehawk. Thumbs up to you on power feeds for running seperate feeds to each pump verses 1 wire thru hat & jumper to the 2nd pump. Ironic just minutes ago I sent cwright (chris) a PM detailing this & purpose of doing this way.

FYI in doing this setup my BAP is no longer set at 50. We now have it turned down to 10 which is putting out 16vdc. At 50 we checked with a meter and it was putting out 21vdc. So it's a lot of room left if I decide to add more power.
I'll be data logging the car and posting before dual and after dual pumps so I can see the difference in duty cycle etc while running at WOT. Stay tuned.

Todd,
Isn't that the same setup Zack did on you engine build?
The basic setup was the same except for the Gauge of wiring, Right?

After a long day handling some family business I got a brief chance to data log the car after adding the dual pumps....My BAP voltage dial is only set at 10 putting out 16vdc BTW...With a .040 duty cycle at 6622rpm im only at 80% duty cycle:banana: She is drinking well on that 93 octane :burnout::burn:

You got it! We ran 10g wire also from the FPDM to the pumps. Make sure to add a relay with a dedicated 12v line ran from the battery.

Little bit easier way to distribute the epoxy throughout the fitting. Drill hole and inject in the middle. Then I tape off the side that epoxy comes out first so it will flow to the other side. Then I like to put the zip ties around the wires to keep them from splitting the epoxy.

Smart idea Chris with the zip ties and tape. See told you. Now do it one more time and you will be ready for production.

That looks really good, I like that idea with the little hole to inject into. Heat shrink would work good to for holding the wires together.:burnout:
