Took the Marauder to work this morning and I had to scrape the frost from the windows before I left. I didn't touch the back window because I thought my rear defrost would take care of that.
It didn't.
I hit the button and the button lit up, but the rear defrost didn't work.
Any suggestions?
Anyone else have this issue?

The factory service manual shows 15 separate tests under "heated rear window inoperative" ranging from issues with the LCM to a defective window grid. Probably the easiest test is to check for resistance of the grid itself...should be less than 5 ohms.

Look for a loose or disconected wire on the window.

When mine went out. It turned out to be the switch itself. Light worked but it didnt.

Move to a warmer climate. My A/C works great!

My first choice. This happened to me years ago and I must have knocked the connection loose when cleaning the back window and deck. Check the simplest and most obvious things first.
