I pulled two codes off my OBDII. I have them both written down at home; basically one said to check my transmission wiring because one of the wires could be chaffed, or bent, or damaged. It said if it's not that then the issue could be a the pressure solenoid going bad.

The other code looks like it's pretty common here, it has to do with the fuel pressure sensor being off for whatever reason. I cleared it and I'll see if it comes back again.

Now on to my question: where should I check for chaffed, bent, damaged wires in regards to my transmission issue? Does anybody have a diagram or is anybody able to explain to me where to look? Any help would be appreciated even if it's just to tell me where I can find the info online or elsewhere.

Thanks errrrrbody!

Get under the car and check both sides of the tranny. You'll see a few connectors. Check the wires from them.

The trans dip stick has a braket that holds three connectors, follow The wires going toward the back and feel The top of tranny for them. I highly doubt is a wiring problem unless someone took it out before and messed something up.

My guess is it's the solenoid, but I'll start with the easiest option first.

Chaffing?! Makes me think of the wiring harens at the back of the drivers side cam cover. That's one of the things I think of when you say CHAFFING. I won't say the other.
