I will be completing my big three upgrade soon and I was wondering what anyone that has done this has used to connect the power wire to their alternator?

A brass o ring crimp terminal, you can pick one up from any car audio shop

I use brass lugs and solder them to the wires. IMHO, much better than a crimped connection. You can get the lugs at any FLAPS and WalMart.
I also heat shrink tube the connections.
I use these to solder. Notice there are different sizes for the various diameter lugs. I also use the CL-Flux.

Anyone have a good picture of their alternator up close with the wire hooked to it?

Nice picture, but that isn't the alternator that works on a Marauder.
Just open the hood and at the top of the alternator.
