I went with the Nitto NT555's. Fronts are 255/45-18 and the rears are 265/50-18.

Here is a shot of the rear tire.

295 on a stock wheel? I know it has been done but be careful of you are going to use a stock non-widen wheel.

Can't wait to see how it handles on the Auto-X course.

Is there much difference between the front stock 235/50ZR18 XL (http://www.1010tires.com/Tires/Nitto/NT555/182-860) size to the 255/45-18 .
I am still deciding on new tire sizes. :burnout:

The 235/50 OEM BFG's are 27.2" in diameter and the Nitto NT555 255/45's are 26.97". I love the look of these tires. The stance is perfect and they are a little wider than the OEM's.

Sorry, just saw your post. Here is the local Auto-X site.
www.mnautox.com (http://www.mnautox.com)

They run at Valley Fair , Canterbury Downs both in Shakopee and at DCTC (Dakota County Technical College) in Rosemount.

It's hard to be competitive with a 4000 pound car. I just do it to have fun.
