Has anyone invested in a set of the Pulsar Iridium spark for their MM? I have a set on order that I plan on putting in soon. They make claims to better a lot of things and I was just wondering if anyone had any input about them.

Most likely "snake oil".

I run NGK - TR6 plugs. I change my plugs once a year so spending alot on plugs would be a waste of money for me.

I currently have Autolite XP103 iridium plugs installed.... got them for free that's why I'm using them.

These come with a lifetime warranty and I have watched a bunch of videos on YouTube about the and they definately do make a hell of a lot more spark visably but I was actually wanting to if they did anything performance wise.

I've used Pulstars on my Crown Vic with no problems but didn't notice any improvements either.

Careful if you drop them or overtighten. They come apart and you have to buy another one to replace.

Waste of money. They make fantastic claims that are not based on reality.

They are fragile. A little heavy on the wrench and you snap them. Most people don't use torque wrenches when installing plugs but you have to with these. personally, they are over rated by themselves. Just get good plugs. The performance is not really in the plugs, but everything else you have done to the engine.

Thanks for all the comments and heads up. I think I might just get my money back and get the NGK iridium plugs. I will use the extra to rears some granatelli boots and COP wires.

Be wary of the Granatelli stuff. Many members have had issues with some of their parts. If there is nothing wrong with your present COP set-up save your money and get something else.:twocents:

When I was putting my STS V engine together my guy said it was a waste of money to
buy the NGK iridium plugs. Just go with the TR6 or 7s depending on the heat range
you wanted your engine to work within.
Of course NGK wants to sell more plug so they make a more expensive plug and see it
like its the plug of the future. It's not save you money for more real go fast goodies.
these plugs are not what they appear to be, pure hype!!!!!

I have been burned by the Granatelli coils and their terrible customer service reps. They are hand picked from a list of former prison guards/ex-nuns from my childhood.
The only Granatelli products I would buy is STP... but since I only use Mobile 1, I don't need the STP!
