I recieved a CEL code 0190 on my 2004 MM. i wanted to see if anyone else has had this code before and what some of the possibilities could be.

I recieved it under these conditions,

I was driving in 1 up to about 3,000rpm and then went to WOT, shifted up to 2 and let out a few seconds later. Got the CEL shortly after i shifted. My car has the Reinhard S/C upgrade and tune, i know that my S/C belt is slipping a little because sometimes i can hear it. I also think that i need to change my fuel filter due to the fact that sometimes when i get on it, it seems sluggish and then cuts in and out. could you guys shoot some suggestions and try to shed some light on the subject at hand for me.

I have the belt for the S/C, i am ordering the idler pulleys and the tensioner pulley, already ordered the fuel filter and i am going to be cleaning the TB and changing out the plugs with NGK Iridium ones in the next few days.

Thanks,

That code means the computer saw higher fuel pressure than the max value set in the tune. I got that code a few times after I upgraded to a MuscleMerc 3" fuel filter kit.

They code can also mean is starving for fuel.
What do you have tor fuel setup?
How much power?
The real way to know your problem is to datalogg your car.

i am supposed to be sitting around 440HP with the Vortech V2 supercharger setup and tune i am running. i dont know exactly what the fuel pump is, my Autometer transducer went out and i just picked uup the replacement today from Autozone and i havent had the time to install it yet. To tell the truth i havent really had time to go over the car and list everything that has been done to it. I know, i know i need to get on it, i plan on spending the day on it Saturday giving it a lot of attention, not that it needs a lot but i think you all know what i mean.

I just got the same code after doing the same upgrade, has the code continued to appear?

i recieved it a few times after that and now my car is in the shop trying to locate the cause as to the reason i have now lost vacuum and cylinder #1 & #2 are consistently misfiring and the car as absolutly no power. I dont know if the reason is because of the filter mod but i swapped it back to the stock size just incase. in my cars case, no vacuum leaks have been found, valve cover was removed and springs were visually inspected for any broken or cracked springs and of course we found none. leak test is going to be performed next to see if it is a head gasket.
