Dan had sent a note encouraging us to come, and we almost got it together. We're selling the house in Snow Shoe *then* (were) gonna go to Ohio & hopefully Loosville. As usual the plan got SNAFU'd but there's always next year. Hope you all have a great time, we miss you guys. BTW Brian & Nate posted a photo on FB of the snow in western MD, but are on their way.... best....mike*barb*calvin

Well if you had taken I-64 you would have been detoured due to wildfires in VA.

Now, back at home gathering up items for the weekend.

I got in to Louisville around 3:30PM, stopped by a car wash I know about and washed it up, and got to the hotel at about 4:30PM. I took I-64; no delays or detours, but there were still some wildfires burning that could be seen by their smoke. Smelled like a campfire.

The news is reporting that a Silver sedan that was traveling at a very high rate of speed created some kind of oxygen depleting vortex and the fires are just about out. Helluva Thursday night at the Hampton Inn Louisville East Hotel!

Folks rolling in thorughout the day and evening, and I finally gave up the ghost at midnight to get some sleep.

Great seeing everyone rolling in and good times were had by all!

Weather looking beautiful for the weekend, and will begin our road trips in about 2 hours.
