Not sure of the part # but wondering how these mufflers will sound on a Rauder.
I heard SLPs on a Mustang Cobra & it was a beast. Not for the tame or faint hearted.
The roar caused my head to turn in the direction of the sound....I was impressed.
All I can say was loud loud loud. Hence SLP Loudmouths.
I wonder if Aeros are the same? Or even more louder?
Can anyone chime in if they had both SLPs and Aeros on their Rauder?

Aeros are the same overall idea design, it's a straight through muffler but Aero Turbine has a patent on design.

I went from Flowmasters to Aeros and it was night and day difference, mild and mellow at idle and cruising, loud when you get on the gas.

Do you have a Marauder? Where did you buy the LM1s from. I also see you are bound for the USNA. Congrats man, that's not to be taken lightly. I went to the summer seminar in 09, and received my nomination but didn't make the final cut.

U will like the sound. All my friends are Chevy guys and they all say it sounds good/mean etc.
That video doesn't show much because it's parked. Will sound different under load.

Yes I have a DTR. I found them here ...

I first tried JEGS and they told me that they shipped only to tell me 3 days later that the were out of stock???
Any way, I called this company and got mine shipped (arriving tomorrow) they also said that they have a couple sets in stock
Oh and cut the second set of cats out...BIG difference and you dont have to worry about o2 sensors, just cut and weld in new pipe

Im new to all of this, is that illegal (at least in MD) to cut out the back cats?

You can delete the 2nd set of cats with no problem.

Make sure you keep them and don't leave em at the exhaust shop once removed.
Take em to a recycle yard cause they are worth money. Maybe $25-$50 ea.

Will not having rear cats make these mufflers "oh crap" loud. Just wondering if I should leave them on.

freaking love how your car sounds man, two reason I have not had the rear cats deleted, one finding a place that will actually do them and two, having a code come up..

Buying an LM1 as a muffler is much akin to buying one of these:
http://www.frozenboost.com/product_info.php?cPath=10&products_id=320&osCsid=87b8b8d4882f7395e304a9f 3530288b7
As a catalytic converter.
Not knocking them at all, just saying that they do almost zero justice to where they get their namesake. :P

No code will come up if you remove the rear cats.
