View Full Version : why might my car only spin one tire

my car ever since i bought it, it only spin the back driver tire i think might be passenger but this is not right is it, and my car had a aftermarket gear box cover on it so im guessing the gears or fluid or something has been tampered with?
please some1 help me out to see if this is right or not and is it gonna mess anything up if sint correct

The clutches in your rear end need to be replace. Usually it's the passenger tire that will spin when the clutches go.

Sparta sells the rebuild kit. Chances are that the previous owner never used friction modifier in the new oil and it ate up the clutches. Get the "C" kit, it has all new bearings and seals. You may as well do it all at once while it's apart.

I recommend a good synthetic 75w140 lube like Redline. No friction modifier required.

Use kevlar clutches when rebuilding.

awesome thanks so much guys always a ton of help that was my next thing to do it rebuild the rear end
already have the sparta on my favorites list for the upgrades axles and the c rebuild kit and i always have 4.10's to go in when doin so and always have royal purple 75-140w gear oil is this ok
