Kari brought his car to me for some upgrades.
I had a 03 cobra longblock build with all the arp hardware.
I will be doing a custom returnless fuel system.
2800 tripple disc Circle D
SW long tubes
posi ported blower and inlet
IAT2 mod
gauges
J-mod
and other mods that i will cover as i do them

Can I ask why? I'm on the fence between these two, the kooks come down to the 2.5 inch diameter the rest of my exhaust already is, the SW don't.. But what makes you like the SW over the KOOKs if you don't mind me asking?

I bought this car in 2010 for a hell of a deal. bought all the parts myself and had it repaired. It came out cheaper then the stock marauder I bought back in 06.

Good Find and with a S/C with it every where I have been looking they will not sell the car they just part it out but maybe that's just RI/MA Junkyards

Can I ask why? I'm on the fence between these two, the kooks come down to the 2.5 inch diameter the rest of my exhaust already is, the SW don't.. But what makes you like the SW over the KOOKs if you don't mind me asking? starting with the welds on the primaries, they go all the way around. The kooks are welded just on top and bottom. I have sent headers to kooks before for flange repair due to leaks.
SW headers are true long tubes, kooks are mid lengths.
SW headers come to a 3" collector kooks are 2 1/2".

Kari wanted to go with wrinkle black finish valve covers and timing chain cover. i liked it a lot so ended up doing the lower intake also.
offcourse the Metco lower had to be part of the build too.

ran into the metco hub not clearing the dayco tensioner.
ended up grindin it down and it clears perfect.

Coverter is in!
For all the nay sayers and firm believers on the stock converter in a trilogy works better.
Look at the pic where both TC's are side by side. this converter will outperform and outlast the OEM. its stalled at 2800rpms and it will drive just as good as the OEM thanks to the guy who is gonna tune this car Tony Ganon

Ive heard about the circle d converters, i take it you prefer it over a PI?

PI converters are good but Circle D are just much better.
From dealing with Chris to the performance gains and quality of work.

I made some more progress this past week, i made my own EGR delete to be installed on the car Engine is all done besides finishing the plumbing on the fuel system, i also corrected the way the BAP was installed and put a 40amp unit in.
