Well to start things off on my way driving to work in the MM since its such a nice day, I noticed a misfire. That turned out to be plug #5 had blown check the pic. You will see the white part is sliding up and down.

Ok so I talked to Blown3.8 and he recommend me to go to the NGK BR7EF's. I contacted Advance and they stock these no special order to Summit needed. I get home and down to the last plug and the talk-a-tive lady at the counter gave me one wrong plug so a ride back was needed I swapped out and I'm on my way.

So after the plug change I also added some Methanol for added protection on detonation since thats what we think may have caused it. I know when it happened I was data logging my car after the dual pump upgrade. I had to punch it hard to get her up to 6kRPM at WOT and after that I heard the misfire out the exhaust.

Moving right along with all that done I go to start my car to cruise out and what do you know my voltage light is on with a P1246 DTC being thrown. After checking fuses with my meter and all points in my system to read voltage since my battery is in the trunk I said screw it I'm swapping the alternator. Luckily I had a 200amp+ DB electric unit on hand (that's another story). I swapped that out and BOOM my baby is back to the norm. And the only code I have now is P1000 just need to drive her to clear that. I'm F&@$king BEAT!!!!!

http://www.mercurymarauder.net/gallery/data/593/medium/plug.jpgthis usually happens on two valve engines, on 4-valves is very rare unless the person that changed the plugs don't know what they are doing.
