If you do it, make sure that you degree them for maximum gain. I did the 01 cams and haven't really noticed much gain. I did dot to dot. To be fair, I love the idle better and I never got a good tune after to compensate for the BBK's and the cams. JMHO

David,
Perhaps a tune would be in order. Ledo could send a boxed tune. That is what I have
heard. Or maybe Travis. What ever happened with the boost project???
Good luck with your what ever you are doing.

The cams are still for sale. If you don't want the exhaust cams, no problem.
I just toss em and you can just get the intake. New lower price 275.00 shipped
Let me know if you need photos or how fast you need them.
Best of luck with your project

Still doing the boost. :hijack: I was just mentioning the issues I ran across. Whomever buys these should consider degreeing and a tune adjust after install for maximum performance. Good buy for sure :banana2:

I now have two sets available for sale.
One set can include both intake and exhaust, if you want
One set is intake only
Same low price.
These cams make power, real power, degree them in and make even more power.
There are more out there, but who knows when they will show up
Buy now or loose out on these power making cams.
That is what we are here for, isn't it"

Thank you Gentleman.
Lot of people here on this site, real sele parts at a profit. I am trying to make some money for my own projects.
I laied the money out and made sure they were clean and worth selling and then offer them for sale.
You can't blame a man for trying to meke a few dollars here or there.
I am not the first and I won't be the last. Are you asking me for them at cost? Hello, this is business.
I don't know anyone who does that.
Everyone marks up there products. That is the American way. This is not a coopertive.
So it you are looking for them you buy or you wait for them to show up again.
They will, but who know when and for how much.
Thanks for writing, good luck with you projects.

That would be the site moderators call.

Actually, it is in the classified rules:

"MercuryMarauder.net defines a vendor as any company or individual that sells, markets, promotes, manufactures or distributes any products or services for the purpose of generating a profit, regardless of the product or service's cost or profit margins. Vendors who choose not to contribute financially to the site are strictly prohibited from using the MercuryMarauder Message Boards to promote or conduct their business ventures in any capacity."

Found in this thread: http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/announcement.php?f=89

I think mercguy04 admitted he is doing this for a profit to fund his other projects and "this is business."

All, This is amazing :bs:. A LOT of people have done and are doing what Russell is doing. Some people just hoard parts and sell them awhile later. What he's doing is not different from a couple of others who are doing the same. I'm not going to throw mud on who's doing it. But, we all know the Mods will tolerate only so much of it and after all it's there site and THEY can do what they want. Like FBM said, it's up to them. My .02

Better, more transparent, rules would go a long way to making this classifieds forum a better place to sell parts.

As it is now, anyone can be asked to pay vendor fees, essentially at random. Heck, one guy was asked while still in the planning stages of what might have been a source of new and interesting components for our cars. That thread got shut down without specific parts even being offered for sale!

But, the site admins seem to like it this way. So, if ya got something to sell, ya better keep their cut aside, in case they come a-knockin'.

Guess what, 2 of the 3 people you mentioned are PAYING vendors and abide by the rules we all AGREE to when we sign up. Please note, I'm not questioning any of the 3 people's integrity for how they treat others. Just not understanding the interplay between the rules and the "rules."

Lol. He actually bought something from me, not the other way around brainiac. Again, im not questioning the integrity of any person here. Russell is a very nice and good guy. But there are rules, and, as pointed out, it is how the moderators enforce the rules.

I've never sold anything, or bought anything, on here with the intent of making a profit. However, there is nothing wrong if a person chooses to do so. If that is the case, I merely pointed out the rules we all agreed to with becoming members on what the aspect of buying and selling.

Mr. Black & Gifted,
Two things come to mind here, I am a dues paying member and have been since day
one of my involvement with MM.NET. In other words "I put my Money where my
mouth was and is"

The Business you refer to is a term to indicate the status of transaction. It in no way has
suggested that I am in business as a Vendor (IE, big cowl imp) I do not buy cars
part then out and sell parts off them.
I work too many hours for that sort of action. If I buy it can't use it, I resale it.
perhaps I mark it up, to cover expense, but that is the extent of my actions as
far as Selling go's.

The second thing I have noticed is, You have posted to this forum 349 times,
conducted 3 transactions and been a member since July of 2011.
While there is no requirement for anyone to be a contributing member it
would stand to reason since you have enjoyed the benefits of our community on
the contributing members dime. I see no Flags under your name.

It would seem prudent that you might want to become a contributing member
since you have so much to offer this community.
How would you feel about this suggesten. It would certainly add to your
stature within this community.

I am not, in any way, saying that your importance is diminished by not being
a contributing member, quite the contrary, your voice is of the upmost importance
on this forum. We welcome it with open arms.

I am asking you outright to open your wallet and contribute to this community

Way to trash a legit for sale thread for parts that people want and need, so much so that now many valuable sellers on here are blowing their parts up instead of selling them

I hope both you guys never need parts, you're gonna look around one day and find no one is selling

If you think the price is high, don't buy.

Actually this is a a Marauder Parts For Sale forum. I haven't seen a "For Trade" forum.

I have bought a few things from members here with money including YOU ;)

It's still TRADING to me, I have something do you want it?
and Buy or not. Pretty simple.

I have sold several things too, mostly to people on CVN. I only charge what the going price for the item is, even tracked down a 91-95 plastic intake plenum for a BUDDY in England with a 92 Town Car. Not in it to make money, just TRADE stuff I have but don't need or help out someone who needs/wants something I have /can find. Even for parts I had to get from the junkyard I had to find them, remove them from the car, find a box, and ship them. If I end up with a few$ left over that is entirely fair.

Trying to buy (or hoard/quickly purchase )something for sale on THIS FORUM then turn around and sell it for $100 more and add no value... Well sorry for getting called out on it, that is not how one treats a BUDDY.

The OP was already in a hiss before I made any comment, I found his attitude less than brotherly so I pointed this out.

Are you buying these from NA SVT marking up and re-selling these? It sure looks that way.

Kinda sucks IMO, give a guy a good deal thinking he's gonna use them only to find out he's selling them for $100 profit. 96-98 intake cams routinely sell for $175 on corral or SVTP. Also, if you can't find any send me a PM as I can usually round up a set in a few days.
